We are looking for a Embedded Systems/Hardware Intern Intern to work in our IoT labs. This is a hands-on role if there ever was one. This Rock Star will work with the team leaders to bring corporate and start-up clients Internet of Things strategies to life in unexpected, results-driven ways. Someone majoring or minoring in electrical engineering (or with similar skills) would be perfect for this role.
For this internship we are looking for a junior, senior or graduate student who is looking to work 12-15 hours a week for the whole school year. Consistency is a key. While we will completely work around your school vacation and exam schedule, we do need regular hours kept at other times during the semester. The opportunity to stay on through next summer or even join the team at Treeline is very much on the table.

- You must be an electrical engineering major or minor local to Southern California
- Skilled at C/C++ language
- Experiences with microcontrollers and sensors
- Experience with BLE /Wi-Fi / RF equivalent is a plus
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Unix: QNX, Linux, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Assembly
- Experience with embedded build systems
- Experience with debugging tools
- Skills in Agile S/W development (Scrum).
